SUMMER SOLSTICE RITUAL: Midsummer solstice is upon us, marking the turning of the sun, and the longest day of 2020 in the northern hemisphere. In this time of plague and separation, we want to bring you all closer and connect in spirit as the wheel of the year turns ever forth, celebrating that this too will pass and we’ll meet again in the future. The night will feature a live stream of Kalandra’s concert in the Gildehall and we’ll keep a fire going throughout the night with surprise performances until the sun rises yet again - Join us!

KALANDRA: Kalandra is a band spearheaded by three Norwegian musicians with a shared passion for the strange. Together they weave the intricate melodies of singer Katrine Stenbekk into alluring patterns of wanderlust drawing us into a strange and spellbinding sort of warped fairy tale.

Their clever combination of progressive and post-rock blends and vocal influences pulled from all over the globe, is an astonishingly fresh, alternative and electronic take on the Nordic and Celtic musical landscape. We can’t wait to join Kalandra into their deep, dark forest of devastating delight – prepare for a night where anything can happen
